Plot Summary

However, her carefully organized world begins to change when she finds herself caught between love, family expectations, and complicated relationships.

Defne first encounters Tolga Erez, a charismatic architect whose interest in her quickly becomes noticeable. Her life takes another unexpected turn when she meets Kadir Emindağ, a powerful and straightforward businessman whose personality is completely different from Tolga's.

Defne soon finds herself caught between the two men. As misunderstandings, jealousy, challenges, and emotional confrontations increase, Defne struggles to determine what she truly wants.

The relationship between Defne and Kadir gradually becomes the emotional center of the story. Their romance develops through a mixture of attraction, conflict, secrets, and unexpected circumstances. The series also uses the supporting characters and their family relationships to create humorous situations and additional complications.

Last Episode / Season Summary

The first season currently reaches Episode 13, which aired on September 10, 2026. The episode introduces a major time jump of two years, changing the direction of the story considerably.

After two years, Defne has moved on from Kadir and rebuilt her life around her career and personal independence. During this period, Tolga and Özlem become engaged, while Mine and Levent get married, and the Bartıner Holding family enters a new phase.

Kadir, who has spent the previous two years in America, suddenly returns to Istanbul. His return immediately disturbs the balance that Defne and the other characters have established.

The biggest surprise comes when six-year-old Ali is left at Defne's door with a letter naming her as his guardian. It is then revealed that Ali is the son of Kader Emindağ. The unexpected arrival of the child brings Defne and Kadir together again and opens a completely new chapter in their complicated relationship.

As Defne and Kadir become involved in Ali's future, the feelings and unresolved issues between them begin to resurface. The possibility of losing Ali forces both characters toward a decision neither of them expected to make, setting up a new and emotionally complicated phase of the story.
